“We wanted to bring a unique Latino experience to our community all the while supporting ¡HICA!’s mission. There’s no better way to do this than to bring people together with food, fun, and beer,” said ¡HICA!’s Jr Board President Dulce Rivera. “We plan on making this an annual event and tradition that will supersede us and continue to bring awareness to our Latino community.”

The ¡HICA!’s Inaugural Pig Roast will be held at the Cahaba Brewing Company, which is brewing a special beer just for this event, the Lagerveza. All sales proceeds of Lagerveza will support ¡HICA!’s mission and programs.

In addition to roasting a pig and having a specially crafted beer, there will be activities for people of all ages and live entertainment.
